Thankful Harvest

I'm a little bit ahead of the game this month for the November blog train at Pixelscrapper. The theme is a bit of a stretch for me as my family has never been big on celebrating Thanksgiving. In Canada Thanksgiving happens tomorrow so we usually have more of the fall colours rather than the muted pre winter pallet for November. Also around my house we tend not to focus so much on one day of thanksgiving and try to make it a part of everyday life. All that being said, I think that I have made a valiant effort. Here are the previews.
The download links will be available November 1st.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the very kind comments on my first blog train contribution last month. I'm so very glad that everyone is enjoying it!

  1. Hello Olesya, Thank you so much for your lovely kit this month! Wow- the papers were particularly fabulous! I also enjoyed reading your blog. I hope that your son is getting used to his new haircut- I think that he looks so very handsome with his short hair- hopefully the girls at school think that he is extra cute now! Happy Thanksgiving - for both Canada (where I live) and the USA! Best wishes!

  2. Thank you Pamela. Being Canadian as well, I stayed away from the typical puritan/indian thanksgiving images and tried to keep things more generically fall-like. As for my son, I'm pretty sure he doesn't intend to have another haircut for a while, He doesn't attend school in a classroom right now, He had a serious brain injury last january and hasn't been able to concentrate in school since then, Thankfully he is strong enough to work and gets credits for doing that instead,
